High Point Quality Photography Without Leaving Vietnam
HIGH POINT, N.C., MAY, 1, 2008—On May 1, 2008, Albion Associates opened a satellite studio in Saigon, Vietnam. The studio is centrally located to the majority of the area’s furniture factories, allowing for easy access. Albion has the capabilities to photograph products on-site at showrooms, factories or in their Vietnam studio. Images can be digitally placed into empty digital sets selected by the design department located in High Point, NC., giving manufacturers a High Point quality image 4-12 weeks ahead of normal US production times.
“The satellite studio will eliminate much of the cost and damage associated with conventional studio shoots. This will allow manufacturer’s new product to get to the market faster, but still maintain the caliber and color management previously available only in High Point”, said Miles Barefoot, Albion’s president. The company will be expanding their satellite offices to include China by late 2008.
The need to develop a satellite studio will supplement Albion’s business in the United States. Albion has recognized the need for a facility in Asia since the majority of furniture is manufactured overseas. The company has experienced no lay-offs in the US due to this expansion.
